The Imperium, beset on all sides by Xenos and Chaos threats, has started looking for ways to ensure that Man is not overcome. As a result, the Imperium has turned its focus towards the eastern fringes of the Galaxy. In a bold move, the Administratum has sent out colonising forces, with the purpose of settling new planets, and rebuilding the strength of the Imperium. The latest expedition is set to visit the Placidus system, where two suitable planets for colonising have been located. The Imperium is looking for volunteers to help colonise the system. Anyone may join, as all manner of skills and abilities are needed. Can you help the Imperium? |

The Battle on Tremor (LGC 40K Campaign)
By Nite 242 “In the Grim Darkness of the Far Future there is only war” IntroAt the Launceston Gaming Club a Warhammer 40k campaign is under construction, beginning on the 29th and 30th of May. All manner of Armies are being played in not just a standard campaign but a continental battle for control of the Planet Tremor. A new strategic side to the game of Warhammer 40khas been added, with the inclusion of army specific objectives, a victory points table and awards. Come one, come all. |

Next Thursday, February 19th, the club will be holding a barbeque to raise funds for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. We will be starting the barbeque from 7:30, so please come along and support this worthy cause. Our thoughts are with all of those who have lost homes or loved ones during this difficult time. |
